What to do in St. Petersburg (Russia)
One of my friends is going on a business trip to St Petersburg over a few weeks. He will combine things with a few days off of work and asked me for some tips. As I was only visiting the city the last years together with wife and little children, I have hardly any idea where to go to have a good time in the evening. Anyone any good adresses of bars, night clubs etc? Good tips for restaurants are always welcome as well.
The best sources of information for foreigners seems to be the St.
Petersburg Times (http://www.sptimes.ru) or Where Magazine. (Both available in the lobby of any decent hotel.) The St. Petersburg Times has a nice
“What’s Happening” section with details of all the major concerts, clubs and
events. Where Magazine is updated monthly, but has a good amount of
information on the more ‘upscale’ entertainment options.
